Swine Flu       The swine flu vaccination progam will continue only for patients in clinical at risk groups. Healthy children aged 6 months to 5 years will no longer be vaccinated following advice from the DoH.

Appointments
Clinics are staggered during the working day and appointments are offered between 8.10 a.m. and 6.10 p.m. Please telephone Reception to book all clinic appointments: 01264 337979.

Telephone Advice
If you want advice about test results or other matters and your doctor is unavailable when you call, you will be given a time to call back, e.g. at the beginning or end of surgery. Please try to avoid calling for results before 2.00 p.m.

If you are unable to attend an appointment with one of the doctors or nurses, please telephone or use the link at the bottom of this page to cancel your appointment.

Beating Cervical Cancer                                    We are currently offering girls aged 16 to 18 the opportunity to receive the HPV vaccination which offers protection against cervical cancer. Please call Reception for more details

Vaccination Schedule

At two months old:

  • Diptheria, tetanus, pertussis (whooping cough), polio and Haemophilus influenzae type b (Hib) (DTaP/IPV/Hib) - one injection
  • Pneumococcal infection - pneumococcal conjugate vaccine (PCV) - one injection

At three months old:child immunisation

  • Diptheria, tetanus, pertussis (whooping cough), polio and Haemophilus influenzae type b (Hib) (DTaP/IPV/Hib) - one injection
  • Meningitis C (meningococcal group C) (MenC) - one injection

At four months old:

  • Diptheria, tetanus, pertussis (whooping cough), polio and Haemophilus influenzae type b (Hib) (DTaP/IPV/Hib) - one injection
  • Meningitis C (meningococcal group C) (MenC) - one injection
  • Pneumococcal infection - pneumococcal conjugate vaccine (PCV) - one injection

At around 12 months old:

  • Haemophilus influenzae type b (Hib) and meningitis C (Hib/MenC) - booster dose in one injection

At around 13 months old:

  • Measles, mumps and rubella (German measles) (MMR) - one injection
  • Pneumococcal infection - pneumococcal conjugate vaccine (PCV) - one injection

Three years four months to five years old (pre-school):

  • Diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis (whooping cough) and polio (dTaP/IPV or DTaP/IPV) - one injection
  • Measles, mumps and rubella (German measles) (MMR) - one injection

13 to 18 years old:

  • Diphtheria, tetanus and polio (Td/IPV) - one injection
